The Sundancers Square Dancing Club
always welcome new members to our club. To become members
a couple must first have completed the Plus Program either through
our club classes or other sources and be a resident of Sun City Vistoso.
However, you do not have to live in Sun City to take square and/or round
dance lessons or attend any of our scheduled dances.
We welcome all visitors to our dances.
November 8, 2010, the Sundancers will host a free “Fun Night” from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
So, come out and find out how much fun square dancing is!!.
Mainstream Lessons (18 lessons) will begin on
Monday, November 15, 2010, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
Square Dance classes are held twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday afternoon.
Students will have dances on Wednesday that allow them
to practice the calls learned on each Monday lesson.
The fee is $6.00 per couple, per sessions. Two sessions per week are offered.
Lite Plus, a series of Refresher Workshops, are designed
to get all square dancers “up to speed” and provide
additional floor time for recent Plus graduates.
These practices will begin in October.
Round Dance classes are offered once a week on
Mondays, starting at 11:00am. If there are sufficient numbers of couples, we will have beginner,
intermediate and advanced classes. The cost is $12.00 per couple per lesson.
This year, 4 round dances will be held from 1:30 to 3:00pm in the social hall
instead of lessons on Monday, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, Mar. 21, and Apr. 4.
